It's the most wonderful time of the year.

This time of the year really gets me going. It's high school football playoffs. High school basketball starts in a week. My ten year anniversary is next week. I have two boys with birthdays in November. Thanksgiving is just around the corner. For sure, it's the most wonderful time of the year.

It is also nice to be able to read the blogs of others who for better or worse I am related to. It is a nice quick way to be able to keep others in mind, and to share my thoughts and feelings. For example. It's nice to know that I am not alone in my struggles to feel as though I am more than just myself. I am important to others and would like to let others know that they are important to me. Sara, you are great and I will do what I can to convince you of this fact. We all have times when we are not our best. Just hope no one has a camera phone to share it with others. The Craven's would be a great addition to the state of Utah. Sara, Julie says hi. I also think of other relatives with young families in Kentucky/Ohio. I hope the best for you and Julie says hi.

I would be interested to hear from any male counterparts in my extended family. Get on and blog something about manly stuff. It seems I am always getting the female version of life outside of Utah. Let me define manly stuff so I don't get any unwanted information like how difficult is is to keep our wives happy. Manly stuff: Sports, occupations, sports, thoughts on church topics, sports, movies (no chick flick crap), sports, photography, sports (not soccer, that is an activity not a sport),any other suggested topics? Julie just informed me that the game I am watching is done with the half time show. Better go and catch the second half. Do I love sports too much? If/is that is even possible!?

Oh, Jeremy. I, Mark, did not realize how deeply you have fallen into the deadly Blog Trap. A blog is like a patch of quicksand, with a bait called "conversation" hanging over the middle of it (this is why so many bloggers are women). The more you participate, the deeper you sink. The only way to get out is to stop moving, and even then, somebody else has to throw you a life line! Next thing you know, you'll be sewing halloween costumes!
Anyway, sports can be eliminated from TV altogether and I would not know the difference, although I do hear that more people watch ESPN than CNN. Guess I'm a loser - I prefer PBS and the Cartoon Channel. As far as my work goes, my last day is Nov. 1. I begin a new job on Nov 6 as a "rehab tech", which basically means I file paperwork and run errands for PTs, OTs, and SLPs so they can use the extra time to make more paperwork for me to file. Pay stinks but it will allow me to go to OT school.
this long response is eveidence of the quicksand theory. Dory is pulling me out as we speak. -Mark

So, ...dont know too much of sports. I am probably the Least "manly" person in the family (thats physically a guy. ...I think some of these woman could seriously take me on!) If art is manly enough, writing, reading, and music. Although I can play sports pretty well (with the ecception of basketbal) I actively choose not to. I did want to know just how Soccer (Football) isn't a sport? Any hardcore evidence? Im thinking the most popular game ever known on the face of the earth and in history would have the title of "sport". Unless to be a sport you have to make it more about money and trading players and contracts than about teamwork. (I kindof like soccer abit if you can't tell) Hockey is good, maybe rugby just becuase it is so brutal. I like UFC and cage fighting, is that a sport? any way check out my site to see if I could be a masculin reenforcement in this highly entragenic world that has been created here.
